Wheel Cleaning
Dry ice detailing the wheels of your vehicle will remove stubborn brake dust, road tar, wheel weight residue. We can reach and clean the complex shapes traditional methods just can't do - without a lot of effort. Using our advanced dry ice machine we're able to safely clean powder coatings, chrome
plated, painted steel, clear coated aluminum, and the plastic center caps - bringing those surfaces back to like-new condition. The process can also help restore the rubber sidewalls. The dry ice process leaves a positive result you can see and enjoy.

Removal and Inspection
We start by removing the lug nuts by hand using a non-marring socket with a protective outer sleeve. This shields the wheel from damage. We'll then carefully remove the wheel by hand and move it to our wheel detailing stand for inspection. Most wheel cleanings are straightforward, but if we come across anything unusual, we'll reach out to discuss the options on how to best proceed.
Cleaning Process
Prior to the wheel cleaning we'll take a photo or two to document the condition. From here the dry ice process begins using the appropriate settings to safely remove the brake dust, dirt, and wheel weight adhesive residue from the inner barrel. We'll clean all the wheel surfaces, along with the sidewalls. Upon completion we take another few "after" photos showing the positively transformative results. The final step is to remount the wheels, with the same care we removed them, and torque them to spec. Our wheel cleaning service is a great way to experience the effectiveness of dry ice cleaning for the first time, on a smaller scale.
